A spectacular oceanfront home with a private pool and elevator. This home boasts 5 ocean front bedrooms, 2 of which are master suites with walk-in tile showers, and 2 bedrooms on the street side, 2 family rooms for plenty of space to spread out, 3 large oceanfront decks, one which is partly a covered porch and a sunning deck, access to all decks from ocean front bedrooms and family rooms, tremendous ocean and beach views, private pool, elevator to all levels, hot and cold outside shower, and much more.

When you come to the beach, you want to relax. This home will accommodate all your needs to do just that. The entire 3rd level of this home is set up with an all-open space for your group to be together and be part of every conversation while enjoying each other and the fantastic views. Or carry part of the group down to the 1st level family room with a wet bar and refrigerator and watch your perfect movie or plug in your gaming system. The 3rd level outside decking is partly covered for those who want to be outside but shaded and partly open for those who want to sunbathe.

Enjoy the beach and ocean views from these decks as they protrude out enough to see all of Caswell Beach and the Oak Island Lighthouse over to the entire western shore of Bald Head Island and the Old Baldy Lighthouse. From the other direction, you can see all of Oak Island over to Holden Beach. Any fishermen with you can watch what is being caught on the pier from the convenience of the couch or one of the decks. Watch the kids on the beach step out on one of the decks or speak to them below if they are at the pool.

Every oceanfront bedroom or family room has direct access to the oceanfront decks for everyone's convenience. Imagine yourself sitting out on one of the decks at night listening to the ocean waves crash along the shore while you gaze out over the ocean water watching the moonlight glisten and sparkle, all the while the ocean breeze whisking through your hair. The relaxing time that you will have in this home will leave you wanting to stay another few days. Walk to one of 2 restaurants steps away. Or stroll down to E Oak Island Dr and go to one of the local shops, or a local favorite, Nancy Joe's Bakery and Frosty's Ice Cream. The Oak Island Golf Course is just a few miles away for enthusiasts. Above the pro shop is Duffer's Restaurant, which has excellent food and oceanfront dining. Also, just down the street, you will find a fantastic surf shop named Locals. It carries the latest in name-brand beachwear and is just a few blocks away from this home, so any of your teens will not want to miss a visit to this store.

This home is conveniently located near the Oak Island bridge, which leads back to Southport. This charming coastal town is one you will undoubtedly want to visit. There is a lot of history there and plenty to see, from the Maritime Museum to the Christmas Shop, a local favorite Bull Frog Corner, the Trolley Shop, and plenty of restaurants such as Mr. P's, Provisions, Oliver's, Frying Pan, and Taylor's. Back at Caswell Beach, don't miss out on visiting a historic Civil War fort named Ft. Caswell. You can get a driving pass to drive through the fort now owned, maintained, and operated by the NC Baptist Assembly. This property was perfect for my family. We were visiting for a wedding at 801 Ocean and the location was wonderful. The views were fabulous and we all enjoyed coffee at Rubys and food and drink at Koko Cabana. A home was being built next door and we had concerns about noise the day of the wedding. Better Beach was kind enough to request the construction team not work the day of the wedding. The weather was perfect and the home had amazing views of the ocean and sunsets.

The only thing I would change/update for this property is buying a few square pavers to add from the pool to the back gate accessing the beach. The rocks are excruciatingly painful to walk on, especially for kids.

The house was beautiful but the elevator didn't work there was no beach chairs and the beds creaked. For multi million dollar home maybe buy some beach chairs and the access to the beach needs improvement.

I called the day before we left with just FYI information.NO COMPLAINTS!!!!! We had a great time and will come back! I just thought you should know.~There is something living in the wall in the master bedroom of Current Sea. Lots of scratching. I would knock on the wall and it would leave. We live in the mountains and know the damage they can do!~We saw 1 roach on the 1st level of rooms. It's the beach, I get it - just letting you know they are there.~The trash was full when we arrived and I couldn't find when the day was for pick-up. Let the renter know when to put the trash out - most people won't mind. We saw the trashman on Tues, but he wouldn't take anything in the black containers, which were packed.As I said. These are not complaints! The house is great and when we come back to Oak Island, we will look at your rentals!Thank you for everything - we had a lot of fun. Tracy Abernethy

The middle bedroom 3rd level seemed very tight but otherwise I liked the layout of the house. The outside shower wasnt working. A couple times pool guys came by to clean pool but werent able to I think due to either mechanical or equipment issues. The event center hosted a wedding & reception while we were there and were asking my grandkids & family not to swim in the frame of their wedding. We accommodated them but since we were paying for the use of our location just like they were I thought I was a little ridiculous for them to think they had the run of the beach. Our family comes down every spring so we are always shopping for a good deal. This year was a lot of fun. We will be checking prices next spring
