We enjoyed our stay. This property was clean, well equipped with kitchen items and furniture. One chair was very well used but the sectional was very comfortable. The only thing that would have made it better is if I could have cast to the tv from my phone for pictures and shows.

The location is fantastic – just a quick walk to the beach, making for easy and enjoyable days by the ocean. The pool was also a highlight, providing a lovely place to relax and swim.However, there were some drawbacks. The TVs on the first floor didn’t work. The beds were uncomfortably hard, and the pillows were flat, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The outdoor shower had multiple bags of sand and a huge box, making it difficult to access. Additionally, some of the outdoor furniture was broken, which was disappointing when trying to enjoy the otherwise pleasant outdoor space.Overall, while the location and amenities like the pool were great, the comfort and upkeep of the property could use some improvement.

Overall, we were really happy with the house and location. The kitchen was great and so well stocked! By far the best kitchen we've had in a house on Oak Island. The walk to the beach was short even with many of the public accesses closed due to the hurricane. More pros: outdoor shower, proximity to Middleton Park and the playground, the pull-through driveway, and the multiple porches. Biggest negatives were the furniture on the porches and in the living room; the porch furniture was very uncomfortable for long periods of time (i.e., reading during the beautiful weather) and the living room furniture threatened to swallow us every time we sat down! Also, we did see a few roaches, but with it being the beach we weren't too surprised, we already knew it was going to happen!

Nice house. Layout was odd. We appreciated the pool and lawn staff taking the trash out on pick up days. Would have preferred the pool be cleaner prior to our arrival as the house was, but since chlorine kills most things I didn't stress over it.
