From top to bottom, La Vita Bella did not disappoint. You can tell the owners poured love into every detail from the decor to the bedding. The house offered spectacular views of the ocean from just about any direction. Waking up Christmas to the ocean just steps away was the best feeling in the world! We comfortably fit 12 people with room to spare for 12 more if we wanted. I hope to one day go again.

This beach house is Phenomenal! Brand new, and designed with intention. We loved that the kitchen and entertainment room was on the main floor right next to the pool and jacuzzi instead of having to go to the third floor like most other beach houses. They thought of everything - well stocked kitchen, beds are super comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. Getting to the beach is effortless with the private deck access and the spiral staircase that connects each floor (no running up and down inside with wet feet!) this place is a dream.

We recently stayed at this beautiful, well-stocked vacation home and overall had a great experience. The house had plenty of beds, two refrigerators, and two dishwashers, which made it perfect for our large group. During our stay, the house was unfortunately struck by lightning, which caused a few issues with the elevator (important for our 87-year-old mother) was out for the last two days, the air conditioning went out, and the internet stopped working. The good news is that the property management responded quickly and had most problems fixed within the same day. One small downside was that when we requested more towels, we were told there would be an extra charge. Despite the unexpected events, the house itself was fantastic, spacious, and well-equipped. Wed happily stay here again.

The perfect place for our group of 10 adults and 5 children with plenty of room for more! The views are phenomenal out every window! We loved the pool and hot tub as well as the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed and we loved the two dishwashers and two refrigerators! TVs in every room was a plus when kids and adults wanted to watch different things. We were so sad to leave!! Would definitely come back here again!! A great place to make memories!!

Great place! One comment we had was that the towels provided were too thin. In addition, please add more kitchen towels. Hand soap in bathrooms would Be helpful too.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. It is very high end and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. Everything was very clean and we found that the better beach rentals folks were very nice and responsive. One day, the pool wasn't as warm and a pool Maintenace guy came over within hours to adjust the temp of the pool. The kitchen is very well stocked - including things like silverware and lots of dishes of various sizes. We loved that it had to a washer and dryer and wine fridge on 2 different levels.I would definitely come back to oak island and would recommend this property to friends !

Beautiful property and far exceeded our expectations.The challenges - when we arrived the key code worked but the elevator did not. When we used the stairs to get in the inside door to the house, the door was deadbolted so we could not get in. We had to go upstairs to all the various doors on each level until we found one that was open.The elevator had issues but was fixed promptly.The 4th floor bedroom balcony door has a bad seal, and the rain was coming in under the door and flooding the room. We turned in a maintenance work order, but it was not completed before we left. Fortunately, there were no other rainy days.One of the rods in the gate was broken - we put in a work order, and it was fixed within 48 hours. It was a bit inconvenient as we had several small children and we could not let them play out there until it was fixed.

This property is beautiful! I have a huge family and we celebrated my mom's 66th birthday as it was her wish to go to the beach. The house was immaculate and if you're looking for upscale living this is it! The elevator was much needed due to my son recently having ACL surgery. When you're in the family room it appears as if the house is on the ocean. The views in this house are breathtaking! Oak Island has become one of my favorite beaches. It's so peaceful and quiet. I will definitely be booking with Better Beach Rentals again!

While the property was gorgeous, clean, and well-maintained, it was extremely inconvenient to not have simple cleaning and paper products provided. We were provided one roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper for a house expected to accommodate 27 people. Also, basic cleaning supplies would have been extremely helpful like dishwasher pods since we were told to wash the dishes and put them up. Wonderful home but would have appreciated a better set up for the stay.

This house is perfect and Better Beach Rentals is the best property management company I've ever worked with (and we rent approx 4-5 homes a year for travel). The house is perfect from the fact there is a staircase from the outside to every room, to almost every bed being a king, to the kitchen being on the main floor to private bathrooms for every room. The pool and hot tub were even cleaned halfway through our stay. Huge shout out to Brett for being amazing and so so kind and helpful. We own a property in OKI and after working with BBR, have considered moving to them to manage our property. The only thing to make this place better is if they provided toilet paper, trash bags and bathroom soap like several other VRBO properties do. Thank you

Beautiful property! There was plenty of space for our large group and I loved that everyone can have their own bathroom. Lots of relaxing and wave watching with multiple porches and quality outdoor furniture. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Would absolutely love to stay here again!
