fenced in backyard accessible from the deck was a huge plus for letting the pup out. so were gates on porches where needed. this was best property I have stayed in so far.the beach access was 100ft away and very convenient.

We love Oak Island and Sandy Feet. However, it seems it is getting more and more crowded with lots of traffic and lines to do everything. The trip down and back is getting to be a hassle. Everyone checks out at the same time and heads off the island. We were stuck in two major traffic jams trying to get inland. Rentals need to stagger checkin and checkout times to help the traffic. This may be our last trip because the travel is such a headache.

We had a wonderful weeks stay! Everything was as promised in description. The house was awesome right across the street from beach access and the fenced back yard was perfect for our Schnauzer that traveled with us. This end of the Island is beautiful and the beach was quiet so you could walk without being bothered. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Linen service was very good, plenty of towels all wrapped in plastic, so very sanitary. I compliment the rental company for all the small details and of course the owners. This is a beautiful home and it totally made us feel right at home. Better Beach Rental responded in minutes for any questions. Thank you so much, we are already scheduling for next year. :)

This is our second year staying at Sandy Feet and we absolutely love it! We love the covered front porch and the distance to the beach. This property truly feels like home. We hated to leave but will be back next year!

Sandy Feet exceeded all of our expectations. The location was perfect- directly across the street from a public beach access which was very convenient for our young family when hauling kids and lots of things. This also allowed a fairly clear view of the ocean from the front porch. The home was well equipped, everything worked as expected, and even had a fenced in backyard if bringing a dog. We loved this home so much that we already booked it again next year!

The temperature inside the house does not need set to 76! Our house was 81° when we arrived and wouldn't cool down, we had to call for help and thankfully someone came and had it fixed by 11:30pm that night. Other than that it was wonderful!

Property was very clean and neat when we checked in. The house was just right for our family, close to the beach access and roomy with a big kitchen and eating area. We booked the house for the same time next year for our family vacation. We feel that Better Beach Rentals is the best property manager on Oak Island.

The property is well thought out for pet owners! Location is great, so convenient to the beach that you dont have to drag everything you own, nice to be able to run back and forth. Lovely decor throughout the house. Overall, great visit!!!
