This beautiful and charming home is located in the quiet wooded section of Oak Island offering a very serene vacation experience, yet is still centrally located in the heart of the island so you are close to everything. The caring owners of this magnificent home have provided many amenities that are hard to find elsewhere. You can rent the golf cart for an additional daily or weekly fee (Comes with free parking pass, please call the office prior to your arrival to set up the golf cart rental), and there are also bicycles for your riding enjoyment. You can grill out in the fenced backyard and lounge around the firepit as night falls, watching the kiddos and dogs play. Even on rainy days, there is nothing to fear, as there is a very nice screened porch equipped with foosball, air hockey, and checkers tables. No one will ever be bored and want something to do! Overall

Great location and accommodated all of our needs. We had two issues: the a/c not working well to keep the house cool, some of the vents had no air coming out. The freezer door did not seal properly and was leaking water, and ice maker was not working. Everyone I spoke with from the office were extremely helpful and friendly. We would rent this home again if those issues with a/c and fridge are addressed, if you can give us any updates that would be great! Thank you!

Overall

My family has been visiting Seaing Starrs every March since 2021. This wonderful home has been a vital part of our family traditions. We visit when the crowds are low, and the beach is peaceful. The primary bedroom has the most beautiful view from the bay window and the deck. Some of our favorite views are watching the pelicans dive for fish, watching local fishermen reel in their catch from the beach, watching cargo ships in the far distance, and even seeing dolphins and/or whales. The porch is perfect for sitting with plenty of chairs for the whole family, the kitchen has all your basic needs to create yummy meals, and the tv's are full of plenty of channels for the occasional rainy day. We love walking to the pier, riding bikes down the many side streets, and taking early morning trips to The Point for shells. Seaing Starrs is a quick drive from Southport; we love Fishy Fishy and the antique mall. Some other positives about this rental: it is always clean, plenty of linens are available, washer and dryer are available, there's office space with a view, and there is a paved patio under the house for cookouts. We hope that we will continue to visit Seaing Starrs for many years to come!

Overall

This is one of my most favorite places in the world. My siblings and husbands and I stayed at Seaing Starrs for 4 days to celebrate my sister’s 60th bday. We were so comfortable and yet felt like we still had all of the conveniences of home. This was my second time staying at Seaing Starrs. The first time I stayed in the room upstairs with the large bay window and king size bed which was fabulous! This time I stayed downstairs in the bedroom to the left of the hall bathroom. This was also a very comfortable room! A little extra I particularly enjoyed was the large filtered water dispenser and the extra beverage refrigerator as well as the ice maker. It’s also incredibly nice to walk right out of the back door and get right onto the beach!! I would recommend HIGHLY!!
